1. Who runs the contest
The Hemong Contest is run by HEMONG DOT ASIA, 201103103176 (002037193-T), [Registered business address] ("Hemong", "we", "us"), the operator of Hemong. Apple Inc. and Google LLC do not sponsor, endorse or administer the contest and are not involved in it.
These rules sit alongside our terms of service and privacy policy. If they ever disagree about the contest, these rules apply to the contest.
2. Words we use
- Points means Hemong Points, the rewards you earn by using Hemong.
- Pick means one entry on one letter in a draw.
- Draw means one round of the contest, with one winning letter.
- Winning letter means the letter chosen under section 6.
3. Who can take part
- You must be at least [18] years old and have a Hemong account in good standing.
- You may have one account only. Taking part with more than one account is not allowed.
- The contest is open to people in [eligible locations].
- [Whether Hemong staff, partners and their families may take part]
- If the law where you live does not allow you to take part, please do not.
4. What you play with
You play with points. You earn points by using Hemong, for example when a food order is delivered. Points cannot be bought directly. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money.
[Whether points expire, and when]
5. Making a pick
- One pick costs 100 points. The price is always shown before you confirm.
- You can buy as many picks as you can afford, on any letters, in as many purchases as you like.
- Picks close when the draw starts. A pick that is not confirmed before then does not count.
- [Confirm: picks are final once confirmed, apart from the cancelled draw rule in section 7]
6. How the winning letter is chosen
The winning letter is the one picked by the fewest different people. How many picks, or how many points, a person used does not matter. Each person counts once for each letter they picked.
- A letter nobody picked counts as zero and can win.
- If exactly one letter was picked by nobody, it wins.
- If several letters were picked by nobody, one of them is chosen at random. The choice is different in each draw.
- If every letter was picked, the letter with the fewest different people wins. If letters are tied, one of them is chosen at random.
How the random choice is made fair. Before picks open, a secret value is fixed for the draw. A fingerprint of that value is shown to you before you pick, so it cannot be changed afterwards. When the draw is made, the secret value is revealed, so anyone can check that it matches the fingerprint and that the result follows from it.
7. When draws happen
There are two draws a day, at 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm Malaysia time. Results appear in the app when the draw is made.
If a draw cannot be made because of a fault or another problem we could not reasonably prevent, we will cancel it and return the points used for its picks. [Confirm: points are returned when a draw is cancelled]
8. Your chances
There are no fixed odds. Your chance of winning depends on how many other people pick each letter. Nobody can see that until the draw is over, and we keep the totals sealed while picks are open so that no one gets an advantage. You can win nothing, and you can lose the points you used for picks.
9. Prizes
If your pick covers the winning letter, you win points according to the payout table shown in the app before you pick. Prizes are paid in points only. There is no cash prize and no cash alternative.
Prizes are added to your points balance [when the draw is made, or the stated delay].
10. Fair play
Please play honestly. The following are not allowed: using more than one account, working with others to influence a draw, using bots or scripts, using a fault in the app to gain an advantage, and giving us false information.
If we find a breach, we may cancel the picks concerned, take back prizes won through them, and suspend or close the account. We will tell you why where we can.
11. Mistakes and complaints
If you think a result is wrong, use Report an issue in the contest screen or write to support@hemong.asia soon after the draw. We keep draw records so we can check. Our decision on the result of a draw is final, except where the law says otherwise. [Where a complaint can be taken if it is not resolved]
12. Play responsibly
The contest is meant to be fun. Only use points you are happy to spend, and stop when it stops being fun. [Limits and self exclusion options available in the app] [Responsible play support contact]
13. Licences and approvals
[Permit or approval reference for this contest, if one is required]
14. Changes, ending the contest and the law
We may change these rules, or pause or end the contest, with notice in the app. A change does not affect picks already confirmed for a draw that has started. If the contest ends, your points stay in your account.
These rules are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
