How does a driver become verified?
They submit their identity document and a selfie, their driving licence, the car's details and photos, and proof of insurance and road tax. A person at Hemong reviews every document. If something is unclear, we ask for it again with a clear reason.
What happens when a driver's documents expire?
The verified badge is removed automatically on the expiry date, and their open trips stop being bookable until they submit new documents.
How is the price decided?
The driver lists a price per seat. You can send a counter offer within a reasonable range of that price, and the driver can accept, decline or counter again. Both of you see the whole conversation.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. The rules depend on how close the trip is, and the app shows what applies before you cancel. See refunds and cancellations for the full policy.
Is Onway a taxi service?
No. Onway connects people who are travelling the same way and want to share the cost. Drivers choose their own trips and decide whether to accept each passenger.
